Summer Activities at Children’s Campus of Greenville

Dear Parents-

Summer is just around the corner and we want to offer some different activities and experiences for the children. We have planned some fun-filled, hands-on activities along with some different enrichment programs for the summer. We welcome parents to participate in these activities if your schedule allows. We also invite parents to come in to share a theme related book or activity with the class whenever you are able to do so!

June Activities

June 16th: Room 9 Preschool Graduation at Children’s Campus. Room 8 @ 10 am & Room 9 @ 10:45 am.
June 16th: In honor of Father’s Day we will have a “DONUTS with DAD”@ 3:30 pm. Each classroom will have donuts for the children to share with dad.
June 20th @ 9:30 am: Summer & Father’s Day storytelling presented by Sheppard Memorial Library in Rooms 4 through 9.
Week of June 23rd: Summer Splash Day begins this week. Each classroom will post their day and time for share donuts for the children to share with dad.
June 25th: National Chocolate Pudding Day. The children will make chocolate pudding.

July Activities

July 12th @ 9 am: Storytelling presented by Sheppard Memorial Library in Rooms 4 through 9.
July 18th@ 9:30 am: WITN weatherman Jim Howard will visit Rooms 6-9 to talk about the weather and read a story.
July 24th @ 9:30 am: Mad Science interactive science program: Sea, Sand, and Surf.
Rooms 8 and 9.
July 23rd: National Vanilla Ice Cream Day. The children will make ice cream in a bag. Rooms 6-9.

August Activities

August 4th: National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. The children will make chocolate chip cookies in Rooms 4-9
August 15th @ 9:30 am: Imagination Station Presents: Bubble Science Presentation with Rooms 5-7.
August 23th @ 9 am: Sheppard Memorial Library presents: Back to School in Rooms 4 through 9.
August 31st: Kona Ice Truck with Shaved Icy to “Welcome” to our new families to Children’s Campus and the start to a new year. From 3-5:30 pm.

My husband and I signed our daughter up for daycare at Children's Campus in a desperate need. We had the opportunity to tour the center which we instantly fell in love with everything about it. Since our daughter has been attending Children's Campus she has done nothing but flourish in development. All of her teachers that she had been with since being here have been the sweetest and most caring, and that does not stop with the teachers as all of the staff at this center share constant love for the children. This is all evident by always being greeted with cheerful smiles, as well as witnessing everyone else being treated the same.

By spending time in my children's classrooms, I have witnessed the teachers' dedication and passion for working with children. Each day provides a stimulating experience in an atmosphere that fosters learning, as well as development of social, emotional, and gross and fine motor skills, all of which helps boost self-esteem.
